How Winspace Bikes Are Designed & Made
Based in Xiamen, which has built a reputation as a carbon powerhouse and the home of many of cyclings biggest brands, Winspace has taken full advantage of the local knowledge and technologies available. They have gathered a team of design and manufacturing experts from around the World to complement their facilities and create bikes that take podiums at the highest level, as well as being fun to ride. Their work with both amateur and professional riders ensures they are able to cater to both types of rider with their different models.
What sets Winspace apart from many bike companies is the expertise and facilities that they have under one roof, all owned by the same brand. From the R&D that has gone in to the mould design and production, to the post production tests, no stone is left unturned in terms of performance or rider safety.
On top of their design validation and extensive rider testing, the individual frames and parts manufactured go through a rigorous quality control process. This includes:
Fork Stiffness Testing
Stiffness test on the fork to check for any flaws in the carbon fibre structure.
Impact Testing
Frontal impact drop weight checks at 20% above ISO standards to provide additional confidence in frame safety.
Carbon X-Ray
Carbon x-ray machine inspection to ensure the lay-up is properly completed and free from defects.
